  • Melt and Pour: It is a process in which soap is made by simply melting the soap and molding it.

  • Re-batching: It is a process in which a bad batch is remade.

Follow this recipe to make natural soap at home

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 Cup Coconut Oil
  • A 2/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 2/3 cup (almond, grape seed, sunflower, safflower oil)
  • ¼ Cup Lye
  • ¾ Cup Cool Water

Instructions:

  • 1: Use protective gear and cover everything
  • 2: Measure the lye and pour it into the water
  •  3: Put the oils into a jar/pan and boil it
  • 4: It should reach 120 degrees of temperature
  • 5: Let it cool up to 95degree
  • 6: Put the oil in a bowl
  • 7: Slowly add lye to it
  • 8: Stir for 5 minutes
  • 9: When it becomes thick, add essential oils
  • 10: Stir it well and put it inside the molds
  • 11: Cover with a wrap
  • 12: Keep it in a towel to maintain the heat
  • 13: Check after 24 hours
  • 14: Cut into pieces
  • 15: Let it cure for four weeks
  • 16: Now, wrap it in a wax paper and keep inside an airtight container
