In this post, I will talk about coriander substitutes. coriander is a herb that has a lot of medicinal properties.in south Asian countries they use coriander Seeds and leaves most of the time. They use them to make curries. If you have flu or cold, take 50g of coriander seeds and put them into the pot with water and apply heat.Then after 20minutes, remove the seeds, and drink the water. It will give a lot of relief.

So coriander can be used as different forms. They are ground/powder form, seed form, and coriander leaves. Coriander leaves can be used as a garnish. There is some confusing thing .. that is, in the United States, coriander leaves called cilantro and in Other parts of the world called that coriander leaves. So if you don’t have coriander in your kitchen, there is a coriander substitute that you can use.

What is the best Coriander Substitute?

1.Dill, Parsley, and Tarragon

These are the perfect substitutes for the coriander leaves. Replace the coriander leaves with these and add the same amount.

2.Cumin, Caraway seeds

These are the coriander seed or coriander powder substitutes. Apply the same amount too.

What if you have coriander seeds, but your recipe needs coriander powder. Grind it. It is that easy.

If you have coriander powder, but you need coriander seeds, what to do? If you want one teaspoon of coriander powder, replace it with 3/4 amount of coriander Seeds .you can add the same amount if you like.
