Honey has been found to help with sore throat and for tonsillectomy and that’s when the tonsils in the back of the throat are removed .Another clinical trial found honey improved nighttime coughing in and kids and there was also effective in providing relief for cold symptoms.

So what about the lemon and a little bit of alcohol for sore throat?

Lemon contains high levels of vitamin C . But there’s no evidence lemon or alcohol help with a sore throat. and a few studies reported that vitamin C may reduce the length of a cold. But while people may benefit sometimes it’s prepped. it’s really ineffective for the majority of us. When it comes to alcohol and a sore throat no evidence that’ll help. In fact you should avoid alcohol when you’re sick as it can be hydrate you and and really make your immune system not work as well to help ease the sore throat .

So first of all try mixing two teaspoons of honey into a hot drink or take it alone never give honey to a child younger than a year because of the risk of infant botulism and also drink lots of fluids. let’s skip caffeinated drinks just like alcohol they can leave you dehydrated. This I like also try gargling with salt water fill the glass with four to eight ounces of warm water add 1/4 to ½ teaspoon of table salt and lastly use a cool air humidifier in the bedroom. it’ll keep air moist and help your throat from getting too dry.

So when should we worry about a sore throat when is it really serious for us?

You should see your doctor if your sore throat is severe lasts longer than a week, if you have blood in your saliva or phlegm or if you have a fever that’s 101 degrees Fahrenheit or higher get immediate help if you have trouble breathing or swallowing. So you know all those are good tips and also remember honey’s and these good stuff.
