CAVA lentil tabbouleh has tasty topping and it includes black lentils, parsley, mint and tomato. It’s a delicious eastern topping for CAVA salads and bowls.

Homemade simple lentil tabbouleh

we’re making lentil tabbouleh for a lunch box idea. not just for the adults. but also for the older kids that are in high school .i guess because we don’t really make many lunch box ideas for them. and i know the younger kids don’t always like greens. but i mean you can have a taste. but i know older kids i have cousins who are older that go to like high school and they love tabbouleh in general. and the reason why i wanted to give you this idea was because a lot of kids that are going to high school and they’re doing a lot of hsc and studying they don’t get enough nutrients and they end up crashing halfway through the day.

but this is great because you can have it in a wrap. they can have it in a wrap and then that way they’re getting their whole grains they’re getting their greens and their protein using the lentils and it’s going to be slow released. So that they’re going to get that energy throughout the day.

Ingredients

• lentils
• mint
• parsley
• Shallots
• little cherry tomatoes

Now we just put the seasoning. 

so i just use lemon juice and a little bit of extra virgin olive oil.
